The True A4.5 SBP Ice Pants were constructed with hardy 600D polyester for players who want solid protection in an affordable, more traditionally-fitting pant. The A4.5 SBP pant utilizes X-TEC Suspension Technology that dissipates impact energy before it ever makes it to the hip area. X-TEC creates separation between the body and the pant's protection, similar to how the liner of a shin guard does not sit flush to the shin shell.
Throughout the rest of the pant, dual-density foams and anatomically shaped PE inserts provide full coverage and protection. Unique to True Hockey is the 2" Extension Fit System that quickly provides players with 2" of extra pant length without unnecessary weight or materials like dual-zippered systems.
True strategically used a wider-than-average crotch gusset in the A4.5 pants to enhance players' mobility. Combined with the segmented thigh and hip pads, this pant offers excellent coverage without sacrificing range of motion.
